Appointing an on-site security guard, particularly an overnight guard, will decrease the likelihood of criminal activity on your grounds immediately. The presence alone of on-site security helps to deter crime and mitigate any threat of illegal activity on your site.
Another important social guideline is to wear masks when necessary. We know, wearing masks isn’t fun, but at this point, it’s routine. There’s no need to require masks (unless your state does), but we highly recommend that you recommend them to your patrons. Not only can they assist in controlling the spread of disease (especially COVID-19), they’re a good look for your campground business. It sends the message that you care about your campers and these days, your reputation matters more than ever.
